This was a really neat idea of Emily’s: Using smooth river stones as escort cards for her wedding guests. I will confess, however, that this was one of the most difficult jobs I’ve worked on! Rocks do not take to ink like paper does. Duh. But, I think they turned out pretty neat, all things considered. Table numbers were written on the backs of the rocks, for the guests to pick up and then find their tables with. (Just be forewarned that if you ask me to do this for your wedding, there is a 75 percent chance that I will decline. Or charge you a million dollars.)
